Throughout this process, the B20 participants often met with the G20 Government representatives, to share views about the orientation of its working groups and the status of its works. The B20 members were frequently associated to thematic sessions, like the “G20 Deputies Finance” Summit on July 9th, the “G20 Commodities and raw materials” on September 12th and 13th, the “G20 anti-corruption” on September 19th, the “G20 development” on September 23rd and the “G20 Employment and social dimension” at ministerial level on September 26th.
These meetings have provided the B20 working groups with the opportunity to present their priorities and share ideas with the G20 Government representatives, in order to include their recommendations in the G20 conclusions.
On September 30th, the President of MEDEF, Laurence Parisot, presented an executive summary of the B20 recommendations to the G20 Sherpas, before the final meeting between CEOs/Presidents of Business organizations and Head of States and Governments takes place in Cannes on November, 2nd and 3rd.
The B20 will also have the opportunity to meet and exchange views with the young managers of the G20 during the G20 YES Summit.
