China Ping Yu

Mr. Yu Ping became Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) in 2003.


Mr. Yu began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Trade of China in 1976, and has worked at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade since 1977.


Mr. Yu’s current and past social positions include:


-  Chairman of Chinese Business Council,Shanghai Cooperation Organization


-  Chairman of APEC Working Group on Trade Promotion


-  Chairman of East Asia Business Council


-  Chief Delegate of China to International Bureau of Expositions


-   Member of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs


-   Member of China-Japan Friendship Association


-   Vice President of China-Russia Friendship Association


Mr. Yu was born in 1955, graduated from the English Department of the Guangdong Institute of Foreign Languages, received MBA degree from Fordham after completing the post graduate course run by BiMBA and Fordham in Beijing, studied literature and English at the Bayero University of Nigeria on government exchange program, completed advanced studies in international trade at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
