Vice Chairman Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE), leading private sector organization in Mexico.
A Graduated in Business Administration and has two MBA´s at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and the University of Naples, Italy. He also has post-graduated courses in economics, finance and banking, which he performed in countries like England, Italy, USA and Japan.
In his career he has had several positions in the banking and finance sector: from 1979 to 1983 General Manager of Financial Investment at FONATUR (National Fund for Tourism Development), from 1986-1988, International Director at BANCOMEXT (National Bank of Foreign Trade). In 1988 he was appointed General Director of the Representative office in Mexico of the Central America and the Caribbean of Banca di Roma until 2007.
Professor of Finance in two main Mexican Universities. He was awarded by the Italian Government as Commendatore of the Italian Republic. He is also Knight of the Order of Malta, Mexico´s chapter.
He has been member of the Board of Scotiabank Mexico from 2007-2010; President of the International Banking Association in México, Chairman of the Italian Mexican Chamber of Commerce for ten years and up to date is member of its the Executive Committee. Chairman of the Europe and Mexico- Italy Business Committee at COMCE among others.
Currently he is President of LATIN IT CAPITAL S.C. a Mexican –Italian financial consulting firm.
