President of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE)
Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Graduated in Political Sciences from the Complutense University in Madrid, Juan Rosell, began, in 1983, his career as General Manager of Juguetes Congost S.A.
He has been chairman of Enher S.A., FECSA, Corporación Unliland and Member of the Board of ENDESA, Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona S.A., APPLUS Servicios Tecnológicos S.L and Siemens Spain.
He was President of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional (Employers Organization of Catalonia) from 1995 to 2011.
In December 2010 he has been appointed President of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE).
He has been awarded with the Barcelona Fair Gold Medal for Merit, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce Silver Medal, the city of Barcelona Golden Key and the italian Commendatore al Merito.
He usually collaborates with numerous press articles and is author of five books, being the last one, in 2010, “What after the crisis?”.
