He graduated from Seoul National University with MBA from 1968 to 1970.
In 1970, he was appointed as a Director of Daesung Industrial Co. Ltd.
In 1985, he was appointed as a President of Daesung Industrial Gases Co., Ltd., Cambridge Filter Korea Co., Ltd., and Daesung Measuring Co.,Ltd.
After he served over thirty years in DAESUNG, he was appointed as a Chairman of Daesung Industrial Co., Ltd., dated on 31st of October in 2000.
On 23rd of September 2011, DAESUNG held the Grand Opening Ceremony for D-CUBE CITY Department Store.
Beside of above all business experience, he has involved in the following activities:
From 2004 to June 2011, he was appointed Chairman of International Business Council in The Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
In 2006, he was delegated to an Honorary Consul of Ecuador to Seoul, Korea, and presently he is serving as an Honorary Consul.
From 18 December 2007 until now 2011, he is a Board member of HOSEO Educational Foundation.
From July 2008, he was serving as an Executive Board members of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) for 3 years. And 2011, he is re-appointed as an Executive Board member again until 2014.
