Antonio Gozzi was born on April 15, 1954 in Chiavari (GE), Italy. He is one of the best-known exponents and spokesman in the steel field and Professor of Economy and Management of Haulage Firms at the University of Genoa, Italy.

Managing Director of Duferco Group, a leader in production and trading in the iron and steel industry. Antonio Gozzi is President and Managing Director of Duferco Italia Holding Spa, a company owned by Duferco Group for 71.875% and by Investire Partecipazioni for 28,125%. He is President of Duferdofin-Nucor Srl, the most important Italian producer of beams and merchant bars, and President of San Zeno Acciai-Duferco Srl.

Furthermore, he has important roles in the steel market, collaborating for the promotion of the steel knowledge in our Country, so as to increase the advantages brought by a proper use of steel, under the structural, architectural and functional profile, in the building field.

He is also President of Associazione Italiana Elettrosiderurgici (AIE) and Vice-President of Federacciai (Federazione Imprese Siderurgiche Italiane).
