Fulvio Conti (age 64) is CEO and General Manager of Enel SpA, the major Italian energy group since May 2005. He joined Enel Spa in 1999 as CFO. Fulvio was formerly General Manager and CFO of Telecom Italia, General Manager and CFO of Ferrovie dello Stato, the Italian national railway between 1996 and 1999. From the end of 1991 to 1996 he was CFO of Montecatini and was subsequently in charge of finance at Montedison‐Compart, overseeing the financial restructuring of the group. Fulvio began his career in 1969 with the Mobil Oil Group, where he held a number of executive positions in Italy and Europe. Member of the Boards of Directors of Barclays (since 2005) and AON (since 2007). Mr. Conti is vice president of Eurelectric and sits on the board of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. In May 2009 he was appointed “Cavaliere del Lavoro” of the Italian Republic and in December of the same year he became “Officier de la Légion d’Honneur “of the French Republic.
