Motashar Al Murshed has over 25 years of working experience in the banking sector, namely with leading financial institutions such as BofA ML the HSBC Group / SABB and the National Commercial Bank. He has wide range of banking experience such as Treasury, Capital Markets and Corporate Finance. With HSBC/SABB Motashar was a senior executive in Treasury/Mutual Funds, he was responsible for all trading activities and the asset allocation strategy.

Motashar has been a member of the Saudi Economics Society for the past nine years and has participated in many economic researches and gave many seminars related to the financial markets. Motashar has a Masters Degree in International Business Administration from the UK and his research work focused on Privatization and Financing BOT projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
