Maurice Lévy is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Groupe, the third largest advertising and communications organization in the world. Under his stewardship,Publicis Groupe has been transformed into a global powerhouse of top creative advertising and marketing agencies and is today a pioneer in digital and online communications

Mr. Lévy is recognized as one of the world’s leading figures in the industry, having managed successfully a multi-year program of aggressive international expansion that today gives Publicis Groupe’s multinational clients the broadest range of advertising and communications services wherever and whenever needed.

Maurice Lévy joined Publicis in 1971, and was named Chairman of Publicis Conseil in 1984. In 1987, he became Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe.

Mr. Lévy is a member of the International Advisory Board of The Council on Foreign Relations in New York, and the World Economic Forum Foundation Board in Geneva. In 2010, he was elected President of the AFEP (French Association of Private Companies) that regroups the top French listed companies. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank.

Born in 1942, Maurice Lévy is married and has three sons and six grandchildren. His interests include modern and contemporary art, antiques, chess and skiing.
