Sean is currently  the Vice President Global Business Initiatives for Yara International the world’s leading global mineral fertiliser company. Sean is currently co Chair of the High Level African Agricultural Growth and Investment Taskforce formally launched at the Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of States and Government of the African Union 2011. He is also Vice Chair of the Tanzania Presidential endorsed Kilimo Kwanza Growth Corridors Executive Committee, a member of the Global Agenda Council on Climate Change, Executive Committee of the African Green Revolution Forum, World Economic Forum’s Board for New Vision for Agriculture and visiting fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Corporate Responsibility Centre.

Sean has been recognised for his leading role in initiating several successful African sustainable agriculture agendas including both the  Agricultural Growth Corridor strategies in Mozambique and Tanzania as well the Malawi Agricultural Partnership and Ghana Grains Partnership.

Sean has a BA in Law, Sydney; MSc (with Distinction) in International Development Practices, Oxford Brookes and is a graduate of the Senior Executive Programme, Harvard Business School.
