Paul Polman was appointed CEO of Unilever in October 2008, prior to which he held senior positions in both Nestlé and P&G. Paul also sits on the Board of Dow Chemical Company and is a member of various industry associations such as ERT, WEF and WBCSD. He was awarded CFO of the Year by Investor Magazine in 2007 and WSJ/CNBC’s European Business Leader of the year in 2003. He is President of the Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Born in the Netherlands in 1956, Paul was educated at the University of Groningen, and then the University of Cincinnati, where he gained an MBA.
